Constitution/Bill of Rights
U.S. Constitution
What is the U.S. Constitution you may ask? The Constitution is a document that establishes the three branches of government: The Executive, Legislative, and the Judicial branches. It also establishes a federal government. The Bill of Rights clearly states the rights or liberties guaranteed by the government to the people. The two amendments from the Bill of Rights that I think are most important are the 1st and the 13th. I chose the 1st amendment because it allows individuals to be able to say, do, and believe in anything inside the law. I chose the 13th amendment because I believe it is important for all people to be treated equally.
