Executive Branch

U.S. White House
The leader of the Executive Branch is the President.  The President has the power to enforce the laws and pass or veto bills.  He/she also has the power of making peace treaties and being the commander-in-chief of the U.S. military.  The President can be impeached for being accused of not doing his job and is at a risk of being replaced by the Vice President.  The President is elected by the people.  The President's term lasts for 4 years.
You have to meet many requirements to be able to run for President, but I'm only going to tell you a few basic requirements:
  • must be at least 35 years old
  • be born in U.S., or have parents who are U.S. citizens
  • must live in U.S. for 14 years
